Chocolate CupcakesIndulging in your favorite sweet treat is a wonderful way to end a workday or celebrate a special occasion. The city of Rosenberg has several different dessert shops that can satisfy your need for something sweet.

Another Time Soda Fountain

Step back into the past inside Another Time Soda Fountain at 800 3rd St. It is just in front of the Rosenberg Railroad Museum. As soon as you step inside, you’ll notice a variety of enticing smells. You can enjoy one of their savory items, such as a hamburger or a salad, or head right for the sweet stuff.  Take a seat at the counter and watch the soda jerks create an old fashioned soda for you. They offer fountain sodas and phosphates; make sure you stir the drinks to incorporate the carbonation. They also have fresh-squeezed lemonade and fresh-squeezed limeade.

If you are looking for a sweet drink, check out one of the three specialty shakes: chocolate banana, strawberry banana, and the Johnny shake. They also have traditional shakes, including chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and cookies and cream. You can also enjoy a float or ice cream soda. In terms of ice cream, they have single scoops and double scoops. They can also make you four different sundaes, including a classic banana split or brownie sundae.

Smallcakes Cupcakery and Creamery

Another option for a sweet treat is Smallcakes Cupcakery and Creamery. This sweet destination is at 535 Minonite Rd. (FM 2977) Ste. 114. This is the perfect destination if you are seeking a freshly baked cupcake. They have several signature varieties, including Hot Fudge Sundae and the Chocoholic. You can also enjoy their Red Velvet, Chocolate Cream, or Wedding Cake. You can also enjoy classics such as a Cookies-n-Cream or a Lemon Drop. If you are looking for something simple, they have classic vanilla or chocolate cupcakes with pink frosting.

There are also several unique flavors made as daily specials throughout the week. If you have any dietary restrictions, they make keto-friendly and gluten-free cupcakes every day. Along with the cupcakes, the shop also carries several varieties of homemade ice cream. Each flavor is a nod to one of their cupcakes and pairs perfectly for a smash dessert.

Gabby’s Snow Cones
