2020 Ford Expedition with FamilyYour family is outgrowing your old vehicle and you can’t take another day of backseat passengers complaining about being cramped. Fortunately, Ford has designed its SUVs with you in mind. Here are four Ford SUVs that can meet your family’s needs.

2020 Escape

The 2020 Escape has the ideal balance of space and efficiency. While still a crossover SUV, the Escape still has an exceptional 40.7 inches of personal space with best-in-class legroom. Personalize your driving experience with several engine options: a 1.5-liter EcoBoost, a 2.0-liter EcoBoost, and a 2.5-liter iVCT Atkinson hybrid engine. The Escape’s gasoline engines run an efficient 23 mpg in the city and 31 on the highway, while the hybrid engine reaches 44 mpg in town and 37 on the highway.

2020 Edge

Want some more get-up-and-go under the hood? The 2020 Ford Edge’s 2.7-liter V-6 turbocharged EcoBoost engine generates an impressive 335 horsepower and 380 pounds-per-foot of torque. Switch to Sport Mode on the Edge’s ST model for even quicker response and acceleration. The Edge also adds to the standard tech features of the Escape with Ford’s SYNC 3 system. Use SYNC 3 to connect to your smart device and stream your favorite songs using Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. Use the Ford+Alexa app to connect your Amazon Alexa to the SYNC 3 for voice navigation, Amazon Prime shopping, and more.

2020 Explorer

If you’re looking for more size, then upgrade to the 2020 Ford Explorer. This SUV has a whopping 87.8 cubic feet of cargo space behind the first row, with second- and third-row seats that are easy to adjust for more space. And you’ll need that space, because the Explorer encourages you to escape out of town, and maybe even off the road. With capability features like Intelligent 4WD with Terrain Management System, a towing capacity of up to 5,600 pounds, and powerful engine options, you’ll want to test the Explorer’s limits.

The Explorer also features Ford’s SYNC 3 system as well as other advanced technology features. One that will keep you comfortable on those long trips is tri-zone climate control: one temperature zone for the driver, another for the passenger, and a third for the back seat.

2020 Expedition

The largest of the Ford SUVs, the Expedition pushes the limits while getting you and your passengers to any destination in comfort and style. With seating for up to eight and Ford’s best-in-class legroom, gone are the days of the backseat “are we there yet?” As a driver, you won’t mind the journey, either. After all, the feeling of the powerful 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine and its 400 horsepower and 480 pounds-per-foot of torque can be a bit addictive. Personalize your Expedition with a handful of trims, from the stylish Stealth Edition to the pinnacle of the Expedition: the King Ranch.

Ford has an SUV for any need and any driving style. Consider the Escape or Edge if you need a little more space but still want the attitude of a smaller vehicle. Go with the Expedition or Explorer if you need maximum space and power. To see for yourself which SUV is waiting for your family, come down to Legacy Ford of Texas.
