3. The Houston Museum of Natural Science

There is also a Discovery Works department within the museum that will take you into a land of dinosaurs. The on-site student labs are also a good place for children to continue their education out of the classroom.

4. Spend Time Outdoors at Cullinan Park

You will often find Sugar Land residents taking a break from their busy workdays and lives and reconnecting with nature at the serene Cullinan Park. Bring a pair of binoculars and check out some of the wildlife at the park, or spend the day watching the wild birds. The park even has an online birding class, where you can learn more about Texas’ birds. This park is also a good spot for photographers, and they often host photography contests. Visitors can also take a walk or bring their bikes to check out even more of the park’s natural beauty.
